Other activities

The choirs work on repertoire in open rehearsals. During workshops young European composers will work with singers and conductors on writing for choir, with attention to vocal effects, vocal range and colour and text setting.

On the open podium Dutch amateur choirs will present their achievements in the field of contemporary music. Three amateur choirs will be selected by a jury to give concerts under the direction of Tenso conductors. >

Video presentations will show the composers who write the music, the musicians who play the music, and much more. All the concerts will be introduced by enthusiastic laymen, who will give their own views on choir music of the 20th century.
